"Azo Pigment Production"

Azo pigment prepared by a published procedure which is environmentally pleasing.
The reaction is conducted at 0 deg.C / 5 minutes with grinding of reactants in a mortar.

The produced pigment is then converted into a gouache paint.
The azo is a pigment since the structure is not water-soluble in this particular case.
No solvents or harsh chemicals are used such as acids.
