Developmental Gouache Paint Formulation
Polycitrate ester prepared thermally ( no acid catalyst in order to avoid yellowing) in a convection oven at 175 deg. C for 20 minutes to the point of a non-tacky glass-like polymer.
It is dissolved in warm water and added to finely -ground sidewalk chalks. Some PEG-8000 is added and stirred to creamy consistency.
Some of the higher molecular weight polymer ( heated to the point of water insolubility) will be studied as a reflective additive later.

Experimental Gouache Paint/ Citrate Polyester
Acrylic and experimental gouache. The gouache has citrate polyester along with water-soluble dye and polyethylene glycol- 8000 on 9" x12" bristol.
The upper yellow and lower reddish-orange layers ( gesso undercoat) have a reflective sheen ( not observed well in the image). The lowest layer is derived from a citrate polyester blue dye.

Novel Gouache Paint Formulation/ Release Into The Public Domain
I am a chemist and an artist....
Two molar equivalents of citric acid mixed with three molar equivalents of dipropylene glycol with 0.5 ml. glycerol is heated to 175 Deg. C in a convection oven for 15-20 minutes ( at operating temp. range) . The mixture contains 200 mg. of Commasie Blue water-soluble dye. The mixture, upon cooling to ambient temp., yields a very viscous paste which joins with a wet paintbrush to produce a non-streaky paint formulation. This matte paint contains no calcium carbonate ( marble dust) powder. The paint has a unique appearance. I posted this at my website , so the date of release into the public domain is established. I do not want a company patenting the work- I want it in the public domain for artists to use in their work.

Developmental Paint Vehicle
I am currently developing citrate polyesters for testing in novel gouache and watercolor paint formulations.
High molecular weight , cross-linked polyesters are being prepared as high refractive index additives and being studied with reflectance visible spectroscopy.
