Chemistry & Art: Azo Dye Production/ Gouache/ Casein Paint Formulations/ Video

 

 An approx. 30 minute video outlining our research into azo dye/ pigment production via 'grind methodology' and conversion into water-based gouache and casein ("milk") paint formulations.

We are developing a 'chemistry of art' lecture/ lab course as an elective for our undergraduate students.
