Developmental 'azo-paste' acrylics, conventional acrylics. Yellow is cheap tempera with an addtive to prevent water sensitivity.

"Duke"/ Developmental Azo Acrylic Paints
A favorite album of mine was "Duke" by Genesis. I am currently developing novel 'azo -paste' acrylic paints. More thickening is needed and i will try calcium carbonate or kaolin clay.

The reddish-orange is a developmental so-called ( by me) 'azo-paste' acrylic which is diluted to provide a wash.

Azo Dye/ Gouache/ Developmental
The yellow is a developmental "azo paste" gouache with white acrylic undercoat. The dried surface resembles an oil formulation.
The dark red/ green azo gouache has no undercoat.
The balance is acrylic.
Bristol foundation. 9" x11".
Developmental Azo Gouache Paint
The yellow is an azo gouache topcoat on an acrylic undercoat. The azo dye is synthesized as a paste via the diazonium intermediate; gouache preparation follows with no waste generation.
The reddish-brown is azo gouache with no undercoat as well as the green.
The balance is acrylic.
