Purchased locally a ca. 1940s 'telephone chair' in excellent condition constructed from maple hardwood. I am applying three coats of 'teakwood' stain manufactured by 'Minwax'.
I will use the furniture ( I am left-handed) to hold an 'overhead camera' when recording technical problems for one of my 'organic chemistry' classes.

Developmental Water-Based Polyurethane Paints
Tovolazza commercial watercolors added to water-based polyurethane binder with natural nanotubular 'halloysite ' clay ( quarry in WY., USA) added. Dries like the acrylics quickly ( keep brushes wet!) , but different appearance when dry.
