Water-Based Alkyl resin Paint/ Dye/ Wash Approach

 

                        Water-based polyurethane base ( Benjamin Moore "Advance") , with alkyl-resin binder, dries quickly as a paint. It is also great in extension.  Here, a mix of yellow and red food coloring serves to make the paint. It dries quickly. This swatch is on acrylic paper.  Topcoat still drying.
